Neuromechanics of walking after SCI

How do people walk over ground and are there treatments to improve walking in persons with SCI?

We are studying several novel treatments in the lab:

1. Effects of caffeine on restoring walking ability after SCI.

2. Effects of mild breathing bouts of low oxygen on restoring walking after SCI.

3. Effects of augmented reality feedback on improving interlimb coordination in persons with SCI.

4. Effects of spinal stimulation on improving interlimb coordination after SCI.

If you have sustained a spinal cord injury more than 6 months ago.
